The logotype developed for the winery is also evocative of a ‘sense of place’ as the typography, and in particular the reversed S, are derived from bent metal type inlaid into the concrete step of the wine makers family home located at the vineyard. The ‘mistake’ of laying the S in reverse has been transformed into a unique typographic solution.

St. Leonards’s premium range Wahgunyah was developed focusing on the W which was treated like an old woodblock print. To elevate the premium nature of the Wahgunyah range, several embellishment techniques were applied.

The St. Leonard’s range feature ‘shadows’ of a wine glass in situations where you would enjoy wine, relax with wine or contain an element of the vineyard.
