Mike Nicholls: Primitive soul presents a selection of the artist's sculptural work, with a focus on carved timber. 

The sculptures combine a respect for natural materis with an evocative and rich lanugage of the motifs 'hand' and 'shield'. 

His carvings offer homage to Australian timber, reflecting a connection to the environment and the landscape from which the materials came.
