ARBORS INSTALLATION

As part of the interpretation for the Discovery Garden at the National Aboretum Canberra, these large 3m diameter steel arbors were water jet cut with images that reflect the stories being told in the garden bed below.

These stories and text panels educate and inform children and garden enthusiasts alike.

As the sun moves through the sky so the shadows cast from the water cut arbors move across the soil beds animating stories of soil conditions, container gardening, watering, composting and local Canberra climates
