PLACE-HAMPI INDIA

Following on from the success of the exhibition at the Immigration Museum Melbourne in 2008, PLACE-Hampi was sold to JSW Steel in Karnataka, India for permanent display in a purpose-built museum.

A team from DLD, White Cube and Melbourne Museum travelled to India in January for the exhibition installation.

A DAY IN POMPEII

Held at Melbourne Museum in 2009 as part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces, A Day In Pompeii gave visitors the opportunity to learn about daily life in the Roman Empire and understand the history of one of the world's most extraordinary cities, Pompeii - how the city came to be destroyed, lost and eventually rediscovered.

PLACE-HAMPI MELBOURNE

This unique exhibition is a combination of archaeology, photography and virtual-reality technology, re-creating and contextualising the stunning World Heritage site of Hampi in southern India. It represents years of passion and hard work by a range of creators including Sarah Kenderdine and photographer John Gollings, who for over 20 years has been documenting Hampi.

David Lancashire Design developed the design for a large, permanent Aboriginal exhibition at Melbourne Museum. Major exhibition themes included European contact, Aboriginal law and knowledge, and Indigenous relationships with the land.
