CURRAWONG BUSH PARK

Interpretive Signage for Currawong Bush Park required a more emotional visitor engagement than that required by directional or informative signage.

The project involved the development of 6 individual sculptural markers to enrich visitor experience and provide a wealth of information about the Park.

The markers will act as stand-alone elements within the park whilst providing a rich and in-depth insight into numerous aspects of Currawong Bush Park. Using cost-effective, easily maintained materials, the signage is both coherent and aesthetically sensitive to the surrounding landscape, forming an integral part of Manningham’s new direction for the site.

The markers have now been manufactured and are being allowed to rust. Installation will be later in 2012.
